Rare series of Beatrix portraits Andy Warhol at PAN Amsterdam
Jaski Gallery was one of the participants at PAN Amsterdam, the major art and antiques fair that as always was organized in the Parkhal in the Amsterdam Rai complex. The 2019 edition opened on Saturday, November 23 (inviation only) and was open to the public from Sunday, November 24 to Sunday, December 1.
We traditionally showed CoBrA works, including some large ones by Karel Appel, such as ‘Clouds’ (1984, mixed media on panel, 140 x 215 cm). We also offered contemporary work by artists such as Chris Berens, Les Deux Garçons, Femke Hiemstra and Emilio Kruithof. A complete and therefore rare series, never before released, of the famous Beatrix portraits by Andy Warhol was very striking.
